Overview
It has been 10 years since RICS introduced the 1st edition of Automated Valuation Models (AVMs) guidance note. Automated Valuation Models (AVMs) are the application of one or more mathematical models – such as regression, adaptive estimation, neural networks or an artificial intelligence program – to estimate the value of properties.
After years of engagement and optimization, RICS published its AVM roadmap in July 2021, and subsequently engaged with stakeholders across major world markets to understand the levels of acceptance of AVMs and help shape its response to their adoption.
This webinar will elaborate on how to effectively use modern tools and digital solutions to solve real estate valuation problems, and introduce practical cases to highlight the value of automated valuation models from the perspective of users, while understanding its meaning and importance in the perception and knowledge of relevant entities related to the real estate field.
