Course information
The presentation shall focus on the entitlement on Claims, each of the Standard Contract conditions of Oman provides and how it is dealt. There shall also be a comparison with FIDIC red book 1999. The provisions shall be detailed with common flaws noticed and with examples. The talk will also touch upon the dispute resolution provisions each of the document provides and how it is treated in the local scenario.
The latter part of the talk shall attempt to compare the UNICTRAL model laws, which is an internationally accepted mode for international arbitration and the Omani Arbitration law.
