PAS 2035, the British Standard for Retrofitting Dwellings was published in 2019 to address the systemic failures and poor standards in retrofit delivery which were found during the Each Home Counts review in 2018.
PAS 2035 is an industry-wide code of practice designed to protect the consumer by outlining how retrofit projects should be managed and delivered. As the over-arching document in the retrofit standards framework, it details how to carry out quality energy retrofits of existing domestic buildings alongside best practice guidance for implementing energy efficiency measures. The Standard outlines professional retrofit roles within the PAS 2035 process, with clear responsibilities and accountabilities.
More recently British Standards Institution (BSI) has opened a public consultation on revisions to the current version. This webinar will look at what key changes to the updates surveyors need to know about.
Join the webinar to understand the important role of surveyors in the industry and how you can support in exceeding industry requirements.
