Course information
This webinar will take the format of a roundtable, with discussion and debate on the existing green belt policy, it’s operation and how it has changed since its introduction. We will also touch on current debate, such as the new definition of ‘grey belt’.
We will review how the current green belt policy could be improved to ensure that good quality housing can be built in appropriate areas, without there being a detrimental impact to England’s farmland or wider natural capital.
The session will provide opportunities for attendees to ask questions to support the flow of the discussion.
Hosted by Tony Mulhall, Senior Specialist; Land and Resources.
