Overview

RICS is holding two public consultations on the future of home surveys on:

• Updates to the Home Survey standard.
• A proposed home survey regulatory scheme.
   

The consultation on the 2nd edition Home survey standard asks for your insights on our proposed updates, ensuring the standard addresses the needs of the evolving residential market. The consultation on a proposed home survey regulatory scheme explores the feasibility of such a scheme and the benefits it could offer for you and your clients.

Please note the consultations, while running at the same time and concerning home surveys, are fundamentally separate from each other. The insights shared on the proposed home survey regulatory scheme will not impact the standard's updates, and vice versa.

This free-to-all webinar will inform you of the proposed updates to the standard and cover the consultation on the proposed home survey regulatory scheme. It aims to provide you with an overview of both consultations.
